FARIBORZ BOOR BOOR is the company’s founder. As its President/CEO he leads its strategic business development efforts. Prior to Caerus, he co-founded Exos Corporation and as its President/CEO, successfully built and sold the business to DJO Global. He co-founded Enova Medical Technologies in 2006 and as its CEO was instrumental in launching Exos Corporation. Prior to joining Exos and Enova, he served as the President and CEO of Visiled Inc. where he was responsible for the development and commercialization of the company’s revolutionary LED-based surgical headlight system and an LED-based OR overhead lighting system. Before Visiled, Fariborz served as the Executive Vice President of Synovis Life Technologies, and held the position of President and COO of Synovis Interventional Solutions. Fariborz holds a B.S. degree in Chemistry and Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire.

DERRICK CAMPANA
leads the company’s veterinary business as its Vice President and GM and was the sole owner of Animal OrthoCare before it was acquired by the company. As a board certified Orthotist, Derrick practiced in the field of Orthotics (the use of braces to correct or accommodate an affected extremity) and Prosthetics (the replacement of a lost limb) for several years. Originally, working with just the human population, he eventually found his true passion by utilizing his Prosthetic and Orthotic skills for the aid and rehabilitation of animals. A graduate of the Pennsylvania State University, he received a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology (the biomechanical study of the body in motion), and went on to receive his certification in Orthotics at Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois. He is currently finishing his Prosthetics certification through University of Connecticut’s Prosthetic program.

 

RACHEL ANKENY is the company’s Vice President of Administration and Marketing Communications. In her role, she is responsible for developing and administering internal business systems, including marketing communications, web development, and on-line marketing. Prior to Caerus, she was instrumental in setting up the business systems at Exos Corporation during its startup phase, ultimately moving into the position of Marketing Communications Director where she designed and developed the marketing and web communications systems for Exos Corporation. She was also instrumental in product development and marketing/customer communications for the veterinary business at Exos Corporation. Rachel holds a BFA degree in Design from St. Cloud State University.

 

GLENN MEIDL is the company’s Vice President of Sales and Marketing. He is responsible for implementing the company’s strategic business development efforts. Prior to Caerus, he worked in the Recovery Sciences arena for 29 years. As the Global Product Manager at DJO Global/Chattanooga, he lead the marketing effort for the company’s largest-ever multi-modality electrical stimulation capital equipment project and launch. At Otto Bock Healthcare, as National Sales Specialist, led a EMG-Triggered Electrical Stimulation national pilot program. In a previous role as Business Development Representative, he helped Bioness hand and lower extremity neuro-prosthetic systems. Before Bioness, he directed the Marketing efforts for Patterson Medical (formerly Sammons Preston/Smith+Nephew Rehab Division) Orthopedics Products. Glenn, a Certified Athletic Trainer, holds a B.S. degree from the University of Wisconsin, Oshkosh, a M.Ed. degree from the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks, and a MBA from Metropolitan State University, St. Paul, MN.

 

CHRIS BORAAS is Caerus’s VP of Operations and in his role, he is responsible for the optimization of the company’s overall operations including the Company’s financial reporting, bank relationships, inventory & procurement processes. His previous experience includes being Controller of Exos Corporation and Rural Cellular Corporation’s Director of Investor Relations. He holds a BA accounting and finance form Augsburg College.
